Aohong manufactures high-performance PTFE Bearing Pads designed to provide low-friction sliding surfaces for bridge structures and heavy engineering projects. These pads combine laminated rubber layers with a bonded polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sheet, offering excellent flexibility, rotational capacity, and horizontal displacement control. Structural Composition
PTFE Bearing Pads consist of multiple layers of natural or neoprene rubber, reinforced steel plates, and a bonded PTFE sliding surface. The PTFE layer, typically 1.5 mm to 3 mm thick, is engineered with dimples to retain lubricants, ensuring stable sliding and improved durability. The laminated design provides vertical stiffness to support heavy loads while enabling horizontal flexibility to accommodate seismic or thermal movements.
